The deputy minister of social development Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu handed over PPE and dignity packs to resident waste pickers at Mpilenhle Recycling. The organization is aware of the social responsibility bestowed upon them to do what is best for the people of the community in which they operate.

Mpilenhle Recycling recovers various recyclable materials including paper cardboard and plastics through its Buyback Centres in Osizweni, Madadeni and Newcastle. The recyclable materials are baled and sold to various recyclers including Neopak, Extrupet and Scrapcore.
