SALES AND MARKETING SUPERVISOR
| JOB PURPOSE: | Responsible for transformation or change management practices to increase productivity and inspire employees to optimize company profits by developing innovative policies that shape the future of the organization. |
| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | – Oversees day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to understand the market. – Continually assessing market techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales. – Work in collaboration with the marketing and sales team to assess and evaluate current projections. – Assume responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets. – Collaborative with the marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers. – Take calculated risks in consultation with the Director: Sales and Marketing and the Managing Director to increase profitability. – Provides training and guidance in building the sales team by providing motivation and support. – Sets the example for excellence through leading by example. – Cultivates and deepens client relationships and partnerships that add value. – Assumes responsibility for apprising employees of all Human Capital policies and procedures and the Code of Good Conduct and the consequences of non-adherence. – Manages the work and is responsible for all HR-related functions of the Sales Representatives team to ensure a high level of performance and output. To maximize profits by meeting or exceeding sales by maintaining sound customer relationships and increasing the customer base. |
| MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: | Three (3) years in a related field. |
| MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: | – Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing or related field (NQF 6). – Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. – Proficiency in the use of various software packages. |
| REQUIRED SKILLS: | – Transformative/Change management skills. – Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. – Good Management and persuasive skills. – Good computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media. – Conceptual and analytical skills. |
